In the period between 1993 and 2010 approximately
EUR 1.400.000 were spent on the diagnosis,
surgery and follow-up treatment for
children with heart disease.
So far, this help has reached 164 children from 35
countries. Most of the children were from Poland, Bosnia, Russia, Kosovo, Romania, Ukraine and the Iraq.
But there were also children from other countries for whom the help by "Heinz and Gudrun Meise Foundation for Children with Heart Disease" provided more than just hope.
