The German Central Institute for Social Issues
(Deutsches Zentralinstitut für soziale Fragen,
DZI) has awarded the Meise Foundation the DZI
seal of approval for donations ("Spendensiegel")
after a thorough examination which is repeated
every year. The Berlin Central Institute is
regarded as a supervisory body for donation-
collecting charities and is known for the strict
criteria it applies in the award of its approval.
The seal of approval guarantees donors that
their donations will be appropriated as intended.
